In computing, a stylus (or stylus pen) is a
small pen-shaped instrument that is used to input commands to a computer
screen, mobile device or graphics tablet. With touchscreen devices, a user
places a stylus on the surface of the screen to draw or make selections by tapping
the stylus on the screen. You can purchase your stylus for iPad for plenty of
shops. Nevertheless, you also can do it yourself. Below I’ll show you some tips
and method for making an iPad stylus pen on
your own. First of all, unsnap the two sides of the metal snap fastener and
throw away the socket component. Cut a 3 1/2-half inch length of dental floss
with a pair of scissors and then tie three knots into one another at the end of
the length of floss to make a single knot.
Then, guide the end of the dental floss without the knot through the front side of the socket snap and thread the floss until the knot catches in the sewing hole. Trim the length of floss that runs past the knot. Distribute a drop of wire glue on the knot to adjoin it to the snap fastener. Thirdly, twist off the end of the ballpoint pen and take out the point, the ink well and the spring. Pull the length of floss through the pen point hole and thread the floss through the ballpoint pen until the socket snap touches the tip of the pen. Finally, put the pen back together with the dental floss pinched between the pen housing and cap so as to secure the floss. Use tape or glue to hold the dental floss inside the pen housing if the cap doesn’t hold the floss taught. It's a wrap! Now you can try your homemade iPad stylus pen to see if it works well.
