The ironworker is a class of machines that can shear, notch, and punch holes in steel plate. It generates force using mechanical advantage or hydraulic systems; it's similar as CNC working center with multi-function, but less complicated to operate the ironworker. Most operations of Hydraulic Ironworker could be done by one person.
The ironworker itself is made of very heavy steel to handle the enormous force that can be generated during use. Usually the ironworker is rated according to the force they can generate in tons; the range start at 20 tons and go as high as 150 tons.
