A Hydraulic cylinder (also called a linear hydraulic motor) is a mechanical actuator that is often used to give a force through a stroke. It has many applications, notably in construction equipment, manufacturing machinery, and civil engineering.
Hydraulic cylinders get their power from pressured hydraulic fluid, which normally is oil. The hydraulic cylinder consists of a cylinder barrel, in which a piston moves back and forth. The barrel is closed on one end by the cylinder bottom (also called the cap) and the other end by the cylinder head (also called the gland) where the piston rod comes out of the cylinder. The piston divides the inside of the cylinder into two chambers, the bottom chamber and the piston rod side chamber.
The hydraulic cylinder is a very useful tool when used as double-acting applications. The tube of the machine is skived and roller burnished and made of precisely finished steel for extending the seal life.
Double Acting type Hydraulic cylinders, precision machined and honed bore, ground end hard chrome plated ram assembled with latest type PTFE bronze fitted glydring and polyrethine seal ensuring optimum performance of cylinder assembly.
